Archieboy portfolio evidence
Real advertising results, including the losses
Three campaigns already featured on our homepage, evaluated using a consistent 30-day customer window. These are our own businesses, not outside client testimonials.
Snapshot: 2026-09-07; completed reporting days through 2026-09-06. Each included customer has had 30 days from their first attributed visit to buy. This is not a comparison of the last 30 calendar days.
| Campaign | Ad spend | Attributed revenue | Gross ROAS | Estimated contribution ROAS |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BookyAwards Meta · Purchases | $6,281.46 | $10,008.30 | 1.59× | 1.54× |
| Review Copy Club Meta · Reader registrations | $921.29 | $0.00 | 0.00× | Not reported: cost inputs incomplete |
| BookReelz Meta · Registrations | $3,522.47 | $3,233.10 | 0.92× | 0.75× |
BookyAwards
Included acquisition dates: 2026-06-10 through 2026-08-07. Recorded campaign status at the snapshot: active.
417 attributed registrations; 127 buyers; 149 purchase events within the customer window.
What this teaches: Measure paid entries and acquisition costs; do not infer profitability from registrations alone.
Cost model: 2.9% of revenue + $0.30 per purchase; $0.12 per sale; $0.00 per registration. Refund deduction in this snapshot: $0 because refund coverage is not reconciled, not because no refunds occurred.
Review Copy Club
Included acquisition dates: 2026-06-16 through 2026-08-07. Recorded campaign status at the snapshot: paused.
1347 attributed registrations; 0 buyers; 0 purchase events within the customer window.
What this teaches: Low-cost reader registrations are not evidence of paying customers or profitable advertising.
The first-party ledger attributes no purchase revenue to these reader cohorts. That does not prove the readers created no value: downstream author revenue and unattributed transactions are outside this measurement. The campaign is paused.
BookReelz
Included acquisition dates: 2026-07-02 through 2026-08-07. Recorded campaign status at the snapshot: active.
2900 attributed registrations; 75 buyers; 104 purchase events within the customer window.
What this teaches: Include the cost of free trailer generation and check whether registrants become paying customers.
Cost model: 2.9% of revenue + $0.30 per purchase; $0.24 per sale; $0.15 per registration. Refund deduction in this snapshot: $0 because refund coverage is not reconciled, not because no refunds occurred.
Attribution limitation: 1 of 114 buyers carry no first-touch stamp on the destination site and are excluded from every cohort.
How the figures are selected and calculated
The publication scope is fixed to BookyAwards, Review Copy Club, and BookReelz: the three campaigns previously shown on the homepage. All three remain included regardless of outcome. This is a limited case-study set, not our full portfolio or a claim about average client results. New campaigns and external clients are not added automatically.
First-party purchase records are matched to each customer’s first attributed visit. Purchases within 30 days of that visit count; subscription renewals do not. Advertising spend includes all clicks on the eligible acquisition dates, including clicks from people who never registered. Shared-pixel purchase totals from ad networks are not substituted for missing first-party transactions.
Estimated contribution is attributed purchase revenue minus modeled payment-processing and variable fulfillment costs, before ad spend. Divide that contribution by ad spend to get contribution ROAS. Below 1× means the measured contribution did not cover the advertising cost; above 1× still leaves the excluded costs to pay.
Recorded outcomes can change as attribution is repaired. Each publication is retained as a dated snapshot, so older claims remain inspectable. Results are refreshed monthly; failures leave the prior dated snapshot visible.
